UFC 100 – LIVE FROM MANDALAY BAY!!!

71.42% for this post

I haven’t attempted picking too many UFC fights, but I do hold a perfect record so far… Tonight I will attempt almost the whole fight card, with a mixture of IF-BETS, parlays, and straight bets… Regardless, tonight’s card is a night that you should not miss! Let’s do this!

FIGHT CARD FOR THE AGES....

LESNAR -230

Tonight’s fight between Lesnar (3-1-0) and Mir (12-3-0) for the UNDISPUTED HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE is going to be no joke… The last time the two faced each other, Lesnar was dominating Mir for most of the fight, and Mir lucked out with a submission to end the fight… Lesnar’s journey in the UFC has been all uphill from there, while Mir had an injury that was nearly career-ending.. Mir looked like he was done as he lost a few fights in his comeback, but bounced back nicely and is currently the “interim heavyweight champion”.. Simply put, Lesnar has improved so much as a fighter, I don’t see anything short of a good ass whooping for Mir…

ALVES +220

In this monstrous welterweight showdown, George “Rush” St-Pierre (18-2-0) is in the toughest challenge for him yet, against the monstrous striker in Thiago “Pitbull” Alves (22-4-0)… Everyone seems to be overlooking Alves… big mistake! GSP has had his toughest times against good strikers that have nice ground game, and the Pitbull is all of that and more… Coming off of a huge knockout win against Matt Hughes, Alves looks to continue his winning streak and look to emerge as the new welterweight champion.. Don’t get me wrong! I love GSP, I do think he is a great fighter.. All I’m saying is, don’t overlook Thiago on this one (The + money looks great, but that is not what drew me to this bet)… My prediction? Alves knocks out GSP late in the 3rd round… -_-

BISPING +180

Dan “Hendo” Henderson (24-7-0) takes on the British bad boy Michael “The Count” Bisping (18-1-0) in a highly anticipated match between the two coaches of the ULTIMATE FIGHTER US vs UK series… In the Ultimate Fighter finale, the Brits walked away with not only the wins, but with all the contracts… The argument was that Hendo may be a great fighter, but is a horrible coach.. It was clearly evident that Bisping took the show and training more seriously.. Once again, like the GSP – Alves fight, DO NOT overlook Bisping! Bisping’s only loss came from a split decision in a fight against former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, Rashad Evans..  Although I did like Hendo in his PRIDE fighting days, he is not the same fighter that he was years ago… He is 38 years old and I just don’t see him keeping up with the 30 year old Bisping, who is looking like he is in the prime of his career while Hendo is simply, falling off..

FITCH -500

Jon Fitch (22-3-0) faces off against Paulo Thiago (11-0-0).. Let’s hope only one Thiago wins tonight… Alves! :)

AKIYAMA -280

Yoshihiro Akiyama (12-1-0) faces off against Alan “The Talent” Belcher (13-4-0)…

JONES -400

Jon “Bones” Jones (8-0-0) takes on Jake “Irish” O’Brien (11-2-0)… Jones is one of the up and coming fighters in the UFC, and seems to be gaining a lot of popularity with the fans… Looks like he makes it 9-0 tonight…

KIM -230

Dong Hyun “Stun Gun” Kim (11-0-1) takes on TJ Grant (14-2)… Watch this Korean kid whoop this white boy’s ass…

Stacked card tonight… should be nothing short of spectacular! Let’s get that paper, and enjoy the fight guys…
