Too many winning days in a row.. Do I fall tonight? Will the “Law of Averages” come into play? Let’s hope not.. I’m not betting on it, and I’m scattering 11 units on the board.. While everyone and their moms seem to be on Denver tonight, I’m thinking exactly opposite.. The public has gotten jacked the past 2 days, with both LA and Cleveland covering spreads.. and to go out a 3rd night and throw a big spread for Denver? I don’t think so guys.. It’s about 50/50 in terms of side betting, but the line is moving towards the Thuggets.. This is the 2nd highest point spread that’s been thrown at the Lakers all year (+6.5 in Boston, where the Lake Show won SU in Feb; +5 in Cleveland, where the Lake Show also won SU in Feb)… Hmmmm…?

Now, let’s bring all the trends into play… The Thuggets are 13-2 ATS in this year’s playoffs (with both ATS losses coming for the Fakers)… They are also 4-0 after a SU loss in this year’s playoffs… They also hold 4-1 ATS records for both 1st quarter and 2nd quarter plays.. As well as 5-0 records for 1st half (8-1 on the season vs. the Fakers), and also 5-0 in 3rd quarter plays.. The UNDER for the game has cashed in 4-1, and the 2nd half UNDERS have cashed in 4-1 as well.. Impressive… but why am I so adamant about throwing my money on the Lake Show, when they have proven to be a horrible road team in the playoffs that cannot close out elimination games…?

Let me say a little thank you to Mr. Joey Crawford before I continue.. The Lakers are a depressing 12-10 without Crawford officiating..  When Crawford is out on the floor with these guys, he’s the best player on their team.. The Lake Show boast a 11-1 SU record in the playoffs with Crawford as a ref (the lone loss coming from the Celtics last year in the elimination game… the Lake Show lost that game 131-92.. kind of hard to fix a game when a team’s down by 40 -_-)..

The Lake Show played great team basketball the last game around.. and I don’t know if it will continue into tonight’s game.. but Kobe will show up tonight, ready to do what he does best.. and that is CLOSE games out.. Denver is in a must-win situation, and we all know how much we hate “must-wins”.. Everyone is thinking this game will go to a Game 7 because of money issues or whatnot… Both series will not go to 7 games! 1 will go 6, and I’m banking it on the Fakers rather than the Magic.. After watching Game 4, I am going to back my theory 100%… Look for the Cavs to win big tonight in blowout fashion.. Orlando has covered ATS in all of its games this series, and they have covered 9 times in a row against Cleveland.. Yet, the oddsmakers threw out 7.5 points for the Magic men.. Now the public has seen enough, and finally placing its bets on Orlando.. Same was the case for Denver last night.. They put together enough ATS wins for the public to back them, and then they got jacked.. Nothing changes tonight! About 70% of the public are riding on Superman’s back tonight, hoping that they can close out the series, or at least keep the game close…

As I’ve stated before in a previous post, I ABSOLUTELY HATE taking teams that are in “must-win” situations, as they tend to be ridden heavily by the public.. such is not the case tonight.. With an absurd line, and strong public backing on the Magic, I can’t say that I do believe in magic… Orlando is shooting a ridiculous 48% from the behind the arc in this series, and are you kidding me? Skip to my lou with 26 points in Game 4? Shooting 6-12 from the 3? C’mon now… we all know you are not that damn good.. The Magic men will go in tonight, and be the underachievers that they are known to be..

Also, I’m taking Cleveland’s 1st half team total, as in their first 2 home games in this series, they went off for 66 and 56.. They may not score as high, but for damn sure it’s going above the 50 mark.. Also, Cleveland is a very strong team at home, and they love to come out firing and catch big leads, which is why I’m taking Cleveland -2.5 for the 1st.. The King should come out fired up once again, as he will get his usual 40 once again.. Another night where the public will take it from behind, as we roll with the MVP to the BANK!!! ( GOT MY O-FACE GOING ON… O O O O… -_- )

The Laker bigs (Bynum, Spaniard, and Odom) were outrebounded by the Denver bigs (Nene, K-Mart, and Birdman) 42-25 in Game 4.. How often does that happen? Denver also killed the Lake Show in points in the paint, 52-34.. Also, 7 players from the Denver roster scored in double figures, while Lakers managed to squeeze out 4.. It’s not going to happen again.. Good thing we rode the Thugs last game

At the end of last game, Pau Gasol had a few words to say as he complained about his lack of touches.. He simply stated that their inside game is effective, and wonders why they’re not recognizing and utilizing it more.. I wonder the same too Pau.. Over the course of the playoffs, I have questioned Phil’s coaching, time and time again… You have 2 dominant centers out on the floor at the same time, and it works efficiently for about the first quarter… Then Bynum is nowhere to be seen for the remainder of the game.. Sure he’s a little slower than before the injury, but wouldn’t you rather have a body on Nene or Birdman, instead of giving the Thuggets an opportunity to make posters out of the Lake Show players every play? I don’t even have to watch SPORTSCENTER for the Top 10 plays.. You watch the Thuggets vs Fakers matchup, and you’ll see about 5 of the top plays in that game.. Whether it be a windmill dunk from Dohntay.. who?! or a monster putback jam by K-Mart or the Birdman.. or even JR Swish making 3′s from 40 feet out.. The Lakers need to D these guys up..

After their embarrassing loss in Game 4, the Lake Show will show up tonight.. It’s been a Jekyl and Hyde type of thing going on with the Lake Show, and I believe the stats on the Lakers ATS coming off a 10-19 point loss is 4-0-1 in covering the spread… Also, the stats are something like 16-3 the game goes UNDER, after a SU loss..
