ATL @ TOR +1.5 (O/U 197)

PICK: ATL -1.5

PICK: OVER 197

Tonight’s matchup between the Hawks and the Raptors means something to only the Hawks, as the Knicks eliminated the Raptors from playoff contention on Sunday night. However, the core nucleus of Bosh, Marion, Bargnani, and Calderon, have put together a few wins, winning 6 of their last 7 games, despite failing to reach the playoffs. The Hawks however, have struggled as of late, as they have dropped games to a number of the league’s elite. Look for the Hawks to bounce back nicely tonight led by Joe Johnson, who need to win this game to get a jumpstart in building momentum going into the playoffs.

POR @ MEM +7 (O/U 191.5)

PICK: MEM +7

PICK: OVER 191.5

As the end of the season nears, the lower ranked teams are looking to upset teams out of playoff contention. Memphis happens to be one of those teams; who won’t have the chance to knock Portland out of the playoffs, but can drop them in terms of rankings on the West. Typically, I would ride with Portland on any given night, but with seeded teams looking to rest players for the playoffs by limiting starters’ minutes, and the lowly teams looking for spoilers and upsets, I can’t see this game going otherwise. Let’s go MAYO!

SAS @ OKL +5.5 (O/U 182.5)

PICK: OKL +5.5

PICK: OVER 182.5

Just like the post above, I feel that this is one of those games. Teams will not exhaust their stars in order to get a win, but they will fight hard until the end. Such is the case tonight, as Tim Duncan will see limited minutes, as he is being rested for the playoff stretch. OLD ASS.. Kevin Durant and the Thunder have let me down the past few games. They’re due for a win… at least in terms of ATS. Also, with Duncan out, there should be less defensive pressure and allow for many scoring opportunities.

NYK @ CHI (O/U 219)

PICK: OVER 219

The Knicks were knocked out of the playoffs by the Raptors over the weekend. The Knicks were happy to return the favor to the Raptors on Sunday. With nothing to play for except the possibility of upsetting teams, the Knicks look to do just that against the Bulls tonight, who are tied at the #8 seed in the East with Detroit, with Charlotte trailing by 3 games. The Bulls have been monstrous at home, winning somewhere around 11 of their last 12 games or was it 12/13.. Not too sure on that one.. You put that, with the Knicks’ high-powered offense, you take the Over to the BANK!

ORL @ HOU -PK (O/U 187)

PICK: ORL -PK

PICK: OVER 187

Dwight Howard is a beast! You’ve seen it all season long.. I honestly wanted to go with Houston when I first saw this line, but I can’t seem to fade the Magic. They’ve beaten all of the league’s elite, and have put together a good number of wins as of late. However, their luck hasn’t fared well against Yao Ming and the Rockets, as Yao has been able to shut Howard down.. but, momentum is on the Magics side.. and yeah, Rafer Alston… I wonder how crappy the Rockets are feeling after giving up Alston to start Brooks… LOL! Ron Ron, don’t make Turkoglu mad tonight… he may just well punish you with like 8 3′s…

LAL @ SAC +11 (O/U 216)

PICK: LAL -11

PICK: UNDER 216

Let’s keep this one very simple. Lakers are the best team in the West. The Sacramento Queens are just about the worst team in all of the NBA.. and they’ll be without star Kevin Martin tonight.. Also, I’m hearing now that Spencer Hawes will now be out of the lineup due to the last game. So that leaves Francisco Garcia, Beno Udrih, Jason Thompson, Rashad McCants, Andres Nocioni…. all guys that would be the leading candidate for a 6th man role on any other team… An 11 point spread against the Queens’ full and healthy roster would make sense, but… nah, not happening..

MIN @ LAC (O/U 202)

PICK: UNDER 202

Where do I start.. Minnesota has been without their star big man Al Jefferson for about half a season now, and he’s out for many months to come.. Randy Foye most likely will be out tonight, so none of the scoring slack is being picked up.. Kevin Love may return tonight after missing games to add to the arsenal of Mike Miller and….. Okay so moving on.. The Clips will be without Marcus Camby for the remainder of the season, and Chris Kaman will also miss tonight’s game. Sadly, the Clips will also be without their power horse, Zach Randolph, as he was arrested on DUI charges on Monday. Why bother playing this game out?
